Fonthill House – Fonthill Care (Harry Park) Limited – St Albans
Fonthill House is a 64 bed Nursing and Residential home located in St Albans.
We are now looking for a full-time receptionist whose main role will be to support the Home by promoting a good public image at the first point of contact and to promote a strong customer focus, whilst providing administrative support to the manager.
Provide secretarial support to the manager and, when appropriate other staff, including diary management, word processing, photocopying, filing and maintaining personal records.
Welcome residents and visitors to the Home.
Ensure that the health and safety of residents and visitors to the home is maintained by asking visitors to sign in/out.
Act as reception providing a focal point for visitors and telephone enquirers, promoting a positive image and customer service approach.
Make arrangements for visits of potential residents and their families, completing relevant documentation and escorts them during the visits.
Assist the Administrator when required and carries out duties whilst administrator is away from the home.
Attend staff meetings and staff training sessions as necessary Adhere to home policies and procedures.
Take the minutes at the staff meetings or other meetings as required.
Actively market the home.
Engage with the Activities Coordinator to ensure a varied program of events inside and outside of the home, that can be used to market the home positively.
You are required to work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Job Type: Full-time, 42 hours per week.

Salary: £9.50 – £11.00 p/h
