Fonthill House – Fonthill Care (Harry Park) Limited – St Albans

We are now looking for a weekend receptionist to work every Saturday and Sunday to support the care home by promoting a good public image at the first point of contact and to promote a strong customer focus, whilst providing marketing support to the manager.

Job Duties:

Provide secretarial support to the manager and, when appropriate, other staff, including diary management, word processing, photocopying, filing and maintaining personal records.

Welcome residents and visitors to the home and ensure they are following the correct Covid -19 guidelines.

Ensure that the health and safety of residents and visitors to the home is maintained by asking visitors to sign in/out.

Act as reception providing a focal point for visitors and telephone enquirers, promoting a positive image and customer service approach.

Make arrangements for visits of potential residents and their families, completing relevant documentation and escorts them during the visits.

Assist the administrator when required and carry out duties whilst the administrator is away from the home.

Attend staff meetings and staff training sessions as necessary.

Adhere to home policies and procedures.

Take the minutes at the staff meetings or other meetings as required.
Actively market the home.
Engage with the activities coordinator to ensure a varied program of events inside and outside of the home, that can be used to market the home positively.
Attend church with the residents on Sundays.

Additional information:

All Applicants must be double vaccinated and have had their booster.

Working Hours:

You are required to work alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 8.00-18.00
